The UKCS Clanbox may well be full now with 64/64 players booked in, however that doesn’t mean you can’t have an awesome time at i46 still. KritzKast (the TF2 PodKast) are hosting their own KritzKastCon4 at Insomnia 46 this year and they are offering any avid fans of KritzKast to join them in an exclusive box:
KKC4 is coming to a town near you, so long as you live in Telford UK or alt least you’re visiting there over the weekend of 24-27th August. As a remarkable co-incidence this also happens to be the weekend (and location) of Multiplay’s i46 event.
KritzKast will be joining a massive line up of international players, shoutcasters and admins. Including (assuming all goes to plan)eXtine, Greaver, Comedian and Byte, wmand so many more. This will be by far the biggest TF2 event there has ever been.
We want to make sure everyone gets to enjoy themselves the KKc way so we’ll be running our own little competitions with prizes and exclusive stuff just for the guys in our clanbox. Bring a tent and pitch up with us in the camp site if you want to experience first had the battle of the snores between the hosts. My money is on Chronos. Join us on the Sunday evening for a special KritzKast podkast LIVE!
Check out the link to our KKC4 page then follow the HERE’S HOW guide. That’ll take you through the 3 steps to securing your place in our clanbox. Share some quality time with the entire line up of KritzKast: Agro, Ruskeydoo, Tempest, Postman Pat and (fingers crossed) Chronos too. And see the impressive manoeuvres of the KritzKast Distinguished Ducks, HighLander team.
If you’re interested in joining KritzKast, do it soon because places in the KK box are expected to be highly exclusive. More info on the KritzKast site.
Not only this we have UKCS TF2 Dustbowl regulars such as Marjorie Stewart Baxter, WAR, Miss Skinny and TheCVM occupying row G in Hall 3 – send a DM to @MarjorieTF2 to join them there!
That’s it, we’re totally up to capacity now – 64 UKCS players confirmed and booked into the UKCS Clanbox. Insomnia 46 will undoubtedly be an absolutely epic weekend of gaming. Roll on August!
Spaces left in the UKCS Clanbox at i46!
If you want to join UKCS at i46 and enjoy the epic 64 man private Clanbox, then all you need to do is book your i46 BYOC ticket and send your booking ID to LAN@UKCS.net. Places are on a first-come-first-served basis and if you don’t get a slot we will put you onto the waiting list so that you can take a place if one becomes available. Looking forward to hearing from you! ♥
Well that’s all for i45 folks. I was sad not to be there myself, but thanks to Vanillatf2.org you can relive the TF2 side of i45 with loads of interviews with various teams and coverage of all the matches on their youtube channel. The final is hosted on Multiplay’s own Fileplay site where you can also find all the videos multiplay themselves made for every i series for some time. I highly suggest checking out the TF2 finals from i40 and i43!
However, nostalgia is so last weekend. i46 was already a hot topic of conversation for vanillatv at i45, but it does look like the event is going to be huge. UKCS already has 49 people signed up to sit in the clanbox with us. Spaces are limited so if you are thinking of going then it is time to get your skates on! Multiplay has also announced that their Early Bird ticket offer will end on June 6th! Early Bird tickets still come with a massive 20% discount on the face value of the ticket.
If you are thinking of coming, apprehensive or want questions answered then either leave a comment or head on over to the forums where we have an iseries specific subforum. The link’s on the right hand side of the page.
Remember, if you book your ticket and want to be in the clanbox then you need to send a PM to Xerxes or Trell on the forums with your booking ID. There is a small fee involved in this but all the benefits and information is on the Clanbox Information page.
Well Multiplay are already on site in Telford setting up for i45 and EAS starts tomorrow, so see you soon those that are going. Mines a pint of cider whoever arrives first!
Don’t forget your wellies if you are camping – it might be a bit muddy There are some other packing suggestions here if you havent checked already.
